GMAT Test Preparation in Pakistan

What is the GMAT Test?

The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a standardized exam used by business schools around the world to assess a candidate’s readiness for graduate-level study. It evaluates skills in analytical writing, quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, and critical thinking, core abilities needed for success in MBA and other business-related programs.

Accepted by over 2,300 institutions and 7,000 programs globally, the GMAT helps universities identify strong candidates for business and management degrees. Pakistani students can take the GMAT as long as they meet the general eligibility criteria set by GMAC. There are no restrictions based on nationality.

Types of GMAT

GMAT Focus Edition

  • Launched by GMAC in 2023, the GMAT Focus Edition is the most recent and simplified version of the standard GMAT, offering a more organized and relevant test experience.

GMAT Online Test

  • Launched during the pandemic, this remote version of the GMAT is now a permanent option for test-takers who would rather take it from home.

GMAT Test Scores & Format

The GMAT's overall score falls between 200 and 800. GMAT test structure is followed by 04 sections.

GMAT Test Score Validity

GMAT scores are valid for five years from the date of your test. Your chances of getting into top international business schools are increased with a high GMAT score.

GMAT Test Fee in Pakistan

According to 2025 update, the GMAT test fee in Pakistan is about USD 275. Additional charges will be applicable on rescheduling, score reporting, or late registration.

GMAT Test Dates 2025

The GMAT exam dates are offered all year long at approved testing locations in Pakistan, such as Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore. You can schedule the test whenever you feel ready and select from a variety of flexible dates.

GMAT Test Duration

The classic GMAT format is reflected in this breakdown. The three 45-minute sections of the GMAT Focus Edition (current version) are Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Data Insights. The entire test lasts 2 hours and 15 minutes.
