TOEFL Test Score Validity

The TOEFL score validity is for two (2) years after the test date. That means that for applications filed within that time frame, colleges, universities, and immigration officials will accept your TOEFL iBT score. It's important to schedule your admissions or visa applications appropriately to make sure your score is still valid at the time of submission, because after two years, the scores expire and are no longer reportable.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a standardized test that measures English proficiency for academic and immigration purposes. It evaluates Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing skills, and is widely accepted by universities worldwide.
TOEFL is entirely computer-based, while IELTS includes a face-to-face speaking test. Ease depends on your strengths—TOEFL suits those confident in typing and digital listening, while IELTS may feel more natural for others.
TOEFL Writing is scored from 0 to 30, based on grammar, structure, clarity, coherence, and task completion. Two writing tasks are evaluated—one integrated and one independent—by both AI and human raters.
